As the Innovation and Development Manager you will function as a project manager, using your insight and expertise to design products that meet customers’ needs.

You will have ideas about trials, recipes, testing and the launching of new beers; this is your opportunity to make thing happen.

As an Innovation and Development Manager you will:

• Work closely with flavour experts to develop new products
• Manage trials effectively, optimising recipes to ensure that products move successfully from pilot to trail to full scale production
• Seek out new brewing technologies
• Lead projects & initiatives to reduced carbon emissions
• Liaise with the packaging team to decide how new products should be presented
• Form partnerships with suppliers, academic institutions and industry bodies

For this position our client is looking for someone with a degree in science or engineering (or equivalent) as well as product development experience in the drinks industry.

You will need a solid understanding of the brewing process and good project management skills.

In addition, you’ll need leadership and influencing skill as well as the ability to present your ideas effectively to senior management.
