Beer Distribution Manager (Northern Territories, UK) - (Ref: 1341)

 

Our client, a highly innovative and successful craft Brewery in London, have an exciting opportunity as a Distribution Manager for the Northern Territories. 

The Distribution Manager will be responsible for driving the Brewery’s sales volume through our assigned distributors and the territory’s corresponding account base. This position is accountable for increasing the availability and visibility of the Brewery’s portfolio in the region while working closely with the National Account Manager to drive national programs to the account level. 

This role will be based in the North. The successful candidate will be commuting to Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle to support the Northern territories. This remit will expand over time as the business grows. 

Skills, experience and attributes:

  • Experience in field sales within the food & beverage industry
  • Well-developed communication and people skills; effective on an interpersonal level; must be comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong judgment and maturity
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
  • Solid time management skills with ability to plan ahead and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish goals
