Business Development Manager UK & ROI (Home/Field based, UK) - (Ref: 1260)

 

Our client is a well-known international company specialising in dispense equipment and related services for dispensing beverages from the keg to the glass. With their UK office based in the North West, they are now looking for a Home/Field based Business Development Manager (UK & ROI) to promote and sell their range of keg extractor tubes and keg beers dispense equipment including bar fonts and branded products.

The UK & Ireland Business Development Manager will be part of the Global Sales team reporting directly to the Group Sales Director based in Luxembourg.

In addition to the UK & Ireland markets, the role includes managing sales of the full range of beverage products in Greece, Cyprus, India and the Middle East.  Sales to these markets are currently via well-established agents or distributors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain successful relationships with customers
  • Make regular visits to existing and new customers
  • Create and send quotes, price offers
  • Actively follow up quotes and enquiries
  • Work closely with the UK support team based in the factory
  • Promote and sell the existing product range and new developments including looking for opportunities to add new products to the current UK and Irish sales programme
  • Work towards achieving company goals by setting own individual targets and objectives and being responsible for his / her own schedule

Skills, experience and attributes:

  • Strong sales experience with solid track records of growing business and market
  • Detailed knowledge and first-hand experience of the brewing industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and background
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage own schedule with excellent organisational skills
  • High flexibility around travelling
