Production Planning Manager - Brewing (London, UK) - (Ref: 1316)

 

Our client, a successful and innovative craft brewery based in London, are looking to recruit a Production Planning Manager. 

The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operations of the brewing and packaging process through accurate planning, forecasting and ordering of materials. 

They will optimise the brewing and packaging process efficiently and effectively, driven by safety, quality, cost and performance criteria. 

They will also manage projects and other continuous improvement activities. 

Skills, experience and attributes:

  • Proven experience of planning and project management delivery ideally within the FMCG industry and the ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong IT skills: Advanced MS Excel, Access, Share Point, Visio, are a must
  • Strong organisation skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with using ERP systems: SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
  • Ability to adapt quickly to the changing demands of the business and production schedule
  • Strong understanding of process controls
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • A good track record of managing a team and achieving departmental targets.
  • Strong knowledge of Brewing practices and different beers
  • A good understanding of HACCP and government regulations
  • IOSH qualification, NEBOSH desirable
