Sales Manager (Home/Field based, UK) - (Ref: 1223)


Our client is a regional microbrewery with an aggressive 5-year plan which will begin roll out in 2018, doubling production and making its beers available nationally (and possibly internationally) for the first time. They are now recruiting for a new Sales Management Role with a defined and quick progression to Sales Director.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Actively sell into national and regional accounts initially
  • Once actively contributed to increasing turnover, a promotion to Sales Director awaits
  • As Sales Director,  the first and main focus will be on building and managing a National Sales Team 

Skills, experience and attributes:

  • A current Sales person working for a drinks company (preferably brewery) with a number of years of experience who is looking for their next career move with the ambition to make it to Sales Director quickly.  Must still be ‘hungry and prepared’ to sell in the short term
  • A proven track record in Drinks Industry Sales (brewery preferred but not a show stopper and Craft Beer knowledge would be ideal but not a pre-requisite)
  • Must have successful history of selling into National and Regional Pub Groups and Wholesalers (Craft Beer wholesalers would be a bonus); the preferred person will bring warm contacts
  • A passion for craft beer
  • Culture fit to the brewery is key
