Technical Sales Representative (Homebased South, UK) - (Ref: 1231)

 

 

Our Client is a renowned supplier to the brewing industry and are currently seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Representative to join the team in the South of the UK.  The successful candidate will be using his/her previous experience as a Technical Brewer and play a ‘hands-on’ role, visiting, helping and advising breweries on the Company’s product range. Specifically, the Technical Sales Representative will develop and nurture regional and larger craft breweries, offering them full technical support and assistance as required, whilst promoting the Company’s full product range and support services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Devise a list of key accounts in order to forecast growth
  • Build long-term partnerships with customers
  • Arrange and attend direct face to face sales and customer relationship meetings with both existing and potential customers and partners, giving prices and contracts in line with the current policy and sales strategies
  • Seek to develop new markets and outlets
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions and conferences and IBD/SIBA events
  • Advise on brewing technical matters, organise trials and run projects
  • Work closely with the technical team to share ideas on products and strategy
  • Customer Service – manage clients and ensure a quality service, resolving any concerns quickly and efficiently
  • Actively be involved with onsite technical training days
