UK Sales Manager - Brewing Supply (Field/Home based, UK) - (Ref: 1318)

 

Our client has a growing market share of keg sales via its exclusive UK agency and is growing its keg rental operations on the back of the connections made. They are now looking to recruit a UK Sales Manager. 

The Sales Manager will take responsibility for managing, developing and maintaining the relationship with partner manufacture vendors. He/she will generate new business sales via existing clients, direct sales, direct and industry general marketing, and networking at appropriate events. 

The individual, who will report into the Sales Controller with little supervision, will be home/field based.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing Vendor customers and new prospects via telephone, email and face to face visits
  • Proactively sourcing new direct sales either by prospecting the existing contacts base, or by sourcing new customers
  • Exceed targets set through a measured marketing plan
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events
  • Support and input to the design and implementation of the company container rental and equipment finance marketing activity
  • Effective use of the CRM System to ensure that each customer can be managed by all members of the team
  • Raise new business documentation and liaise with customers to ensure timely signature and return
  • Responsible for ensuring that administration is in line with regulatory requirements and company procedure
  • Maximise cross selling opportunities and secondary income
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

Desirable

  • Experience in Financial Services or a B2B background
  • Previous experience of working in sales & marketing, with proven ability to meet sales targets
  • Knowledge of and contacts within the brewing industry
  • Previous knowledge and experience of the Asset Finance industry
  • Brewing industry qualifications such as those offered by the IBD
