Our client, a supplier of brewing equipment and services to the brewing industry, is looking to recruit an Operations Co-Ordinator, based in London, whose prime responsibility will be to co-ordinate the logistics of equipment to their brewing customers. This role is highly collaborative in nature, as the position works closely with third party suppliers and the internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the right products are in the right place at the right time.
Duties and responsibilities:
Stock & Warehousing
• Stock accuracy (physical vs. system)
• Stock levels reported daily and accurately maintained
• Monitor stock levels of consumables (container collars / caps /spares) and order as required to maintain 100% availability
Outbound Logistics
• Co-ordinating customer deliveries with 3PLs
• Optimizing delivery methods & costs
• Minimise dispatch errors
• Tracking and resolving live delivery issues
Collection Management and Optimisation
• Log, investigate and resolve collection queries
Systems & Processes
• Rigorously and methodically check and validate our supplier invoices
• Weekly, monthly, annual KPI reporting
• Supporting internal system development and testing
International Logistics Lead
• Build relationships with freight forwarders
• Manage process from quotes to delivery
• Internal expert for all international movements
• Ensure compliance to all regulations related to the international movement of client containers
Required Skills:
• Understand business implications of decisions and align work with strategic goals
• Solid organisational capabilities and ability to quickly and effectively jump from one task to another
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to maintain quality
• Willingness to roll up the sleeves and dig in directly to issues
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work
Qualifications:
• Bachelors’ degree or experience in lieu of degree
• 2-3 years’ experience in logistics and or operations preferred
• Experience in a FMCG or equivalent logistics environment
• Experience with ERP, data analytics and TMS systems
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations
