SALES MANAGER

London, UK ref: 1650

Our client, an established Craft brewery based in London, is looking to recruit a self-starting and ambitious Sales Manager with at least 2 years proven sales and account management experience in either craft beer, spirits or soft drinks. The successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of the trade, ideally have an established network within London and have a passion for the drinks industry. They will be responsible for growing both sales on-trade and off-trade.

Core responsibilities

● Acquire new customers, focusing on areas agreed with Commercial Director
● Grow top line sales maintaining £/HL margin
● Present CRM tracker weekly and agree opportunity strategy
● Create a sales forecast aligned with finance reporting
● Work alongside marketing to grow sales and optimise existing accounts
● Build business and trade relationships with visits and tastings
● Act as a brand ambassador who promotes our identity and displays the brand values
● Manage pouring agreements and facilitate beer installations
● Manage inbound sales enquiries across all platforms, and ensure incoming communications are covered
● Place orders accurately and ensure they are scheduled within the individual delivery criteria for each customer
● Understand the contractual obligations and specific needs of key accounts

Additional Responsibilities
● Undertake market research of competitors and customers
● Represent the brand at media, consumer, and trade events
● Educate staff and consumers on our range of beers
● Ensure sales support documents are filed and updated
