Our client is a long established and successful business in the manufacture, distribution and selling of malt and malted ingredients, based in East Anglia. They are looking to recruit a Technical Brewer to work within the Malt Ingredient Team.

Key deliverables are:
• Driving right first-time production by ensuring conformance to specifications and standards
• Develop and manage recipes according to customer specifications
• Implement new products in conjunction with the New Product Development team
• Mentor and train shift teams on brewing process
• Optimise recipes and process for quality and process performance
• Work with Process Engineer and CI lead looking at ways to improve process performance and yields

Experience/Requirements:
• Have at least 5 years’ experience working in a brewing environment
• A food science/engineering degree (or equivalent) with a recognised brewing qualification
• Excellent communication skills being able to operate at all levels
• Practical experience in the brewing industry including successfully delivering projects.
• Attention to detail and high quality standards
