PROCESSING OPERATOR

Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic, energetic and self-driven person to the role of Processing Operator, with responsibility for the intake of products, ensuring all process controls, quality standards and H&S requirements are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Intake of product ensuring all process controls, quality standards and H&S requirements are followed. Record all details on check sheets provided.
• Knowledge of all processing pipe routes and all tank capacities.
• Control of Heat Exchanger, Bosch mixer and pumps.
• Cleaning of all routes, equipment and tanks using CIP system
• Cleaning of all external areas. Eg. Floors, pipe and tank fittings, tanks etc.
• Weighing and mixing ingredients to customer recipe.
• Stock control (Intake, rotation, stock count) of ingredients.
• To work closely with the Processing Co-ordinator to ensure handovers are effective communications tools.
• To ensure that Health and Safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift.
• To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written where needed.
• Continuously maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.
• Trained on Depalitiser and Robot to support Production where needed.
• Maintaining high level of timekeeping

Person Specification:

• This is a role for somebody dynamic, energetic, self-driven, results-oriented, and above all who has a positive “can do” outlook with a clear focus on deliverables. We are looking for a highly organised, naturally forward planning, logical, structured thinker. Prompt and accurate communication skills are essential.
• Able to effectively work individually and as part of a team.
• Understands the principles of manufacturing.
• Work experience: Minimum 3 years working in manufacturing.
• Able to work extended hours and in different areas, on occasions when required.
